Setup by the Merchant’s guild to speed transactions throughout the city and the surrounding areas. Blackwater has many centralized postal boxes located at various locations throughout the city. These are rented for 2gp a month. (1gp+1gp tax). Mail is circulated throughout the city on a daily basis. Mail to the outlying areas usually takes a minimum of 24 hours to 3 days using various magical avenues.

The Red Fist protects the mail. They work eight-hour shifts and heavily protect the main sorting house next to the main guildhall of the Trade Lords.
Ravens, doves, and falcons are also used to distribute messages to farther destinations. That is why it is illegal to shoot down any of these birds in Dorovar.
