OFFSPRING OF JUSTIAN

(Weltor Jastum Umra)

AMROL-DAN: Razed over 3000 years past when the great moon fell from the sky.  The great tremor from the crash destroyed over 90% of the Dwarvish Empire.  Ruins now litter much of the land they had conquered.  Their main city still stands intact.  Abandoned many centuries ago, used now by many foul beasts as home.  The Amrol-Dan is haunted by the spirits of the lost dwarves.

MELANBENDOOR:  Mountain Dwarves, direct descendants of the Amrol-Dan.  These dwarves have turned a dark grey, even black hue.  The pigment in their skin glows from the black steel that they mine from the fallen moons core.  They trade with the Sune elves and on occasion with the Akjal-Avorim.  They will trade with travelers that are not evil.  They prefer to keep to themselves and rarely venture beyond the crater of the fallen moon.

AK-TOR:  The deep dwarves of Ak-Tor are the purest of their race.  They have a clean bloodline back to Justian and his first consort.  The mountain dwarves are master smiths harnessing the ancient energies of this world, and no finer has there ever been in all the lands.  The Ak-tor are friendly with the grey elves of Eronson and the Council of the Silver Thrones.  They tolerate the Wemic tribes that protect theirs coreward borders.  They trade with the merchants of Drazillia to some extent.

AKJAL-AVORIM:  Ruled by the Tor-Jastum, these hill dwarves rule over the lands below the Zephyr and Caer Allwyn.  All intruders who are captured will be taken to see the Grey Lords of Diamondrock.  It is here that they are sentenced for entering this holy land.  Dwarves however, are accepted with open arms.  The human settlements that lie near the edge of this dwarvish land pay tithe to the Grey Lords each year so that their settlements may grow and prosper.

NYGAR:  this band of mountain dwarves were cut off from the other clans of dwarves for over 1500 years, they have only been reconnected for the last century.  Knowledge and communications with this lost tribe is growing, but still the other dwarves are seen as strange.  While man, and the Cendrum beasts are all seen as intruders who have spoiled the pristine creations of Justian of the Ironwill.

BANADOR:  These hill dwarves live with the Sunara elves.  They have a unique allegiance in which each aids the others weaknesses.  Thus creating a stronger community, and overall society. Trade is a common practice between the two.  Although they do not send out organized caravans, those that have visited and not been a great disruption have returned with many items of power and wondrous treasures.  Those that have caused unrest have disappeared.

GRERLYCH:  This Deurgar clan lives below the surface of the Churl Peaks.  They take all trespassers they capture to the slave pens, to mine the deep hole.  Elves that are captured are taken to the great kitchens and given t the chef and his staff.  These dwarves are purely evil and hate all others.  “They were here first and all others are unclean” They often make forays both above and below ground to destroy other village outposts.  They have been spreading every year as their reach slowly increases.
