TROLL MOORS: Ranging from steep foothills to low boggy moors in the Tragadon, the Troll Moors are covered with a grey moss and wild clover. The many species of trolls and other mutated creatures that roam this area is due to the evil influences of the Gamalean council experimental release program.
THE RIPPLE: the great beast that walked the land some 400 years past caused the ripple. It rose from the sea and beat the land into the form it is today. This beast ripped the ground, sundered the mountains and uprooted whole forests to its liking. Since that time, no one has returned to this land for fear or raising the beast once again. Pits and scars, valleys and hills, briars, thickets and living plants are commonplace here. The ruins of the ancient city of Ramath are all that remains of this once civilized land.
BLACK LEOPARD HIGHLANDS: Located in the great valley of the Spine, the highlands are home to the hill dwarves of the leopard. This small clan of dwarves feuds with local elves and Cendrum tribes. Their goal is to retake the Shilveran Peaks from the Sunaran Elves, as the name suggests there are many felines in the hills as well as giant spiders, considered a gourmet delicacy by the dwarves.
WYVERN FOOTHILLS: the dark domain of the Dripping Eye Orc tribe. Over 6000 strong, they raid the Wemics and the demi-humans year round. In the winter, the Wyverns return and hibernate in the hills, feeding on all who happen to be out.
LAUGHINGDALE: Home to over 20 clans of Halflings, gnomes and other wee-folk, the dales are slow rolling hills with small stands of trees scattered between the rivers and streams that meander about. The whole valley comes together twice a year to celebrate life and the fact that they are all fun loving and carefree.
HORNS OF THE TRITONS: Low rolling hills covered in sparse shrubbery and brush. Wusroos, is the most common plant. Do to this, elf and dwarves will rarely be found here. Many estates litter the Horns, owned by nobleman and protected by mercenaries. Law here is what you make it.
HILLS OF THE VINE: The foothills to the Greyclaw Mountains in Avorim. The name comes from the immense number of vineyards that cover the hills. This is one of the main wine regions of Atros.

MELANBENDOOR HILLS: Formed out of the remains of the Fallen Moon. The dwarves that live here have turned black due to the magic of this place and the ore from the moon. The hills have a shimmering silverfish hue from the fine moon dust. Over the centuries, the dwarves have piled the mine tailings here and created a vast sand dune of black rock over the majority of the hills.
HILLS OF THE AVORIM: Home to the Dwarves of Avorim, these rolling hills are full of watering holes and small fruit bushes, as well as many strange beasts and plants. The dwarves allow the many beasts to roam freely as guards. However, all Cendrum are hunted and destroyed. Several small Halfling villages can be found scattered amongst the hills.
AG-TORITH MOORS: These steep and rocky hills lie next to the divide the upper and lower Moonwood and keep the Swamp of the Spire from flowing up into the Amber Valley. Many undead and rare monsters haunt these nasty moors. Fog is always present and usually very thick. Only a fool would dare to venture here.
HILLS OF THE BONE: The dry and barren hills jut out of the Plateau of the Sarg. They are covered with the parched bones of those unfortunate enough to drink the water in this place. Most of it is poisonous although a few wells can be found with untainted water. The few living inhabitants protect these.
