OFFSPRING OF ILLITHARN

(Illium)

The first child of Illitharn was Samra.  Samra had seven sons who form the basis for the tribes of man.   These tribes formed the seven great nations of man in the third age.

VANRE:  Sarn(Gamalean), Calass(Caladrian) and Xph(Xphrall).

CHARAN: Aken, Goether, Rohumin (3 Tribes of Baneor Charak)

The sons of Charan first traveled the great distance from Samra in the great deserts to the center of Verith with Calas, Xph and all their sons and daughters.  There was a great falling out  and ever since The Charakeen have been bitter enemies of the Caladrians and Xphrall.  They settled on the islands in the great bay of Ice.  They petitioned Astra to guide them in their struggle and were blessed with the valley of Astra on the largest Island in the Vannor chain.  It is here that the priests of Astra start the journey to spread the words of Astra.

The men of Charak are tall and burly just slightly smaller that the stature of the Caladrian’s. Their hair is jet black with blue or green eyes and a ruddy complexion. They too have learned to live and flourish in this harsh and unpleasant environment.  They are considered the best sailors in all the lands. The Caladrians however believe they are.

VALUS: Namijar, Malak, Koh, Hamra, Shika, Pazar, Jampu (Valusian Tribes)

ARDOR: Atlin (Atlinians)

The tribes of Ardor stayed in the land that Illitharn had made for them and they kept it pure and clean so he would visit them along with Midra and the other Immortals.  Being in contact with the immortals for so many years has given the Ardorians great wisdom and intelligence.  They formed a pact to guard this wisdom for it could corrupt the rest of the Illmeran.  The knowledge was placed in a book known as the Dol-Amra (Great book of Mysteries).  Over the ages of man, several powerful men have gained access to the book and parts of it have been taken to the far ends of the lands.  They have become the protectors of the Dol-Amra.

SPIROS: Aflan(Men of Aster), Skyorask(Skyoraskia), Jeowl, Beymor

MERCINDOR: (Merc-Common trade language): Sargoth(Sargothia), Allwe(Caer Allwyn), Ruath(Ruathyn), Drazil(Drazillia), Yalar(Yalarum), Uzi(Uzial), Valwe(Caer Valwyn), Gallin (Died at birth)

BARAK: Taran, Farak(Farakeen), Warzne

Barak and his tribes were hated by the other tribes for their greed and insensitivity so they were ostracized and went to live in the cracks and caverns beneath the lands with the creatures of Iccendria.

HYPERTHIS: Gundr, Kloern, Mellas, Aires

The tribes of Hyperthis set off to the great islands beyond the Illmeran, They are incredible sea farers and rule the waters near the rim.
