CHILDREN OF ASSUNE
(Welsunne)
TRAGADON: Located in the great forest next to Ice Wyrm Bay. These high elves are very militant. They trade with the elves of Sunara and Alcene. Although they think, the Elves of Alcene are haughty and condescending to others. They will always aid those of good nature who are in need.
STARLIGHT: This small band of wood elves lives among the people of Baneor Charak. They are considered a gift of Astra and are semi-worshipped by the locals. The religious humans of this region consider them holy. They hold festivals year round and frolic in the wild, for they have no cares in the world. The people of Charak see to all their needs. When encountered outside the forest they are timid and speak very little.
ALCENE: These Eladrin are the ancient of the ancient. They live in the High Mountains of the Viper. They have groomed a group of Sylvan elves to act as their servants. These elves control the might of the Yar-Al-Ells; the staff of power given by Midra for the great battle at the awakening.
ALFARN: the Alfarn are Sylvan elves with many of the fey-wild in their midst. They frolic through the new virgin wood that grows freshly from the receding desert. They glory in their home and the knowledge that they live in the cradle of Assune, she who gave them trees. They train hard to fight the evil Cendrum that advance out of the desert. Others train for their rightful place as servants to the Alcene
CELLENERON: These wild elves live in small encampments throughout the Changorin Forest; they move these villages with the seasons. They are unfriendly to most intruders as their forest is almost gone and has been ravaged by war for many years. They work in harmony with the other elves and Eladrin of Verith. They are masters at Guerilla warfare on the orcs that live in the Wyvern Foothills.
SUNARA: The Sunaran are an advanced tribe of Eladrin. They live in beautiful tree cities, lit by fantastic magic’s and the trees themselves are said to glow in the evenings. The Sunari are an elite sect who spend their lives dedicated to fighting the evil beasts from the deserts and the Dragon Caves, they trade with the dwarves and other fey tribes. They keep their cities hidden from most by illusions to avoid contact and discovery.
ERONSON: These elves serve the great Wyrmking; Gryler-Indoran. They are the main front in the Wyrmhold of the Living Throne. They trade with all the members of the Wyrmdom as well as human caravans along the merchant road. They are related to Eldarin of Alcene. They concentrate more on the finer things in life, art, poetry and other esoteric pursuits. Acquiring knowledge is the highest enjoyment for these elves. Through trade and exploration, they have amassed a great library of knowledge and facts. This has led to the development of great airships made from plants similar to those used by Alcene to travel the Great Sphere and beyond.
HIGHHORN: These Eladrin lead the resistance front for the citizens of Hornwood. They fight against Blackfist and his minions. Their main efforts are to regain control of their forest and reinforce the defenses. They are sad and in bad shape as over 80% of the once great wood has been cut down or burned. They plan a major offensive in order to stop the devastation. They trade with Eronson, Neranvel and other human sympathizers. They have achieved a good alliance with the centaur tribes of the area, as well as the few remaining forest ancients.
NERANVEL: this great clan is made up of elf and Eladrin alike. They control the largest remains of the once great forest. They have colonized the rimward side and are slowly spreading coreward. All other beings in the forest are considered intruders. They act as a secret police. As long as the forest is not harmed and travelers stay on the Long Road, they are not harmed by the Neranvel. (These laws are posted on the Long road in several languages.) They have a large army of archers as well as many magic’s of ancient powers and a well-trained priesthood of holy warriors.
SUNE: These grey elves live in a giant forest that grows from the soil of the Fallen Moon. They make their villages out of old toadstools and rotted out tree stumps. Some of the stumps hold over 200 elves. The Sune, trade amongst themselves and the Dwarves of Melanbendoor as they are very reclusive. They also trade with the Neranvel, who travel here. They leave the security of their forest only once. A form of walkabout, they go to explore the world and then return to share the tails. The oldest male or female in each family makes this journey.
LUNA: These Eladrin live in the Moonwood; called Moonshae by the locals. They are directly affected by the woods magical properties. They work in harmony with the druids, who serve the forest. They have little care for rules. All they want is to live and learn, advance the fey beliefs and keep the forest free of evil.
