HISTORY OF VERITH

THE WAR OF HOSTS.

For over a million years the Wyrmkings battled to regain what they had lost after the great egg was shattered.  The Great Dragons chose sides over who deserved to gain control and rule.  The war to reclaim the pieces fo the great egg destroyed most of the fragments of the great egg into dust.  The largest remaining pieces had crashed into the now shattered lands of Verith.  Shards, Mantles, and Cores full of primal and ancient power fused themselves into the very earth itself.  The eons that passed were all battles to gain the power of these Totems of Power.   After growing weary and tired Illitharn took a portion of his very essence and banished the Cendrum Host to the nether regions of the Celestial Sphere in the hope that the endless war would be over.

The essence surrounded Verith in a weave of energy that prevented the Wyrmkings from passing through and thus preserved the Totems in place.  No Wyrmking would be able to reclaim the great lost power of the First Age.

The Immortal Host chose the side of Illitharn and believed he should contineu to rule and set things back in order. They lived in the upper regions of the Celestial Sphere on Waysria and the Primal Moons; there they used the light of Belorn to hold sway over the lands of Verith where the remains of the great egg had fallen.

The Cendrum Host chose to follow Iccendria and beleived that Illitharn had lost control and was to blame for the great destruction of the first age. This evil and treacherous Cendrum Host were left with the lower regions of the Celestial Spere and claimed the Mantle Cores and the lands of Ascar to plat their revenge.

The Immortal Host rasied up many creatures in an attempt to gain the Totems of Power through other means.  The Cendrum Hordes spread out and moved up to Verith over the centuries, slowly advancing up though the Great Eye of iccendria when the Light of Belorn is blocked by the death moon.
