Inside the crater of Melanbendoor lies the giant forest of Sune.  The trees tower over 400’ high and the mushrooms and ferns are as big as men or bigger.  The grey elves live in a giant forest that grows from the soil of the Fallen Moon. They make their villages out of old toadstools and rotted out tree stumps.  Some hold over 300 Elven families.  The Sune, trade amongst themselves and the Dwarves of Melanbendoor as they are very reclusive.  They also trade with the Neranvel, who travel here.  They leave the security of their forest only once.  A form of walkabout, they go to explore the world and then return to share the tails.  Each member of the family makes this journey at the age of 100 as part of the coming of age ritual.
